As we know, COF = IC Chip stick on the flex cable.
So on the appearance of this COF P30Lite, we can see the IC chip is on the flex clearly, so most of the people would just check it by appearance , but dont know the exact different between COF and COG.

But so ,when you feel a COF looks pretty like a COG screen, you can just broken the IC chip on the flex and if the screen is still working fine ,then it does mean this is a FAKE COF screen, because the IC chip on COG flex is like a decoration and pretend a costly COF screen so to have more profit for the seller.
